World Toilet Day

On the 19th of November it’s world toilet day. It’s a day to realise that some people in the world don’t have toilets.40% of the world do not have sanitation or toilets or 2.5 billion people.1.8 million people die from the fecally-transmitted diseases every year.There something called the big squat it is when thousands of people squat for one minute to raise awareness.Our class done it and most of our class struggled to stay up for one minute.

Robyn Moore

Yesterday we had a speaker her name is Robyn Moore.She was the voice of Blinky Bill and lots of other voices.She was pretty funny she was talking in the voices of all the characters.She was in the make a wish foundation and she was telling us stories about kids with illnesses.

Athletics Carnival

On the 20th and the 21st of October we had our school athletics carnival the house groups are Bridges,Davis and Hart i am in Bridges.The track events i went in were the 100m,200m and the 800m i came third in the 100 4th in the 200 and 5 or something in the 800.The field events i went were the Long Jump,High Jump and shot put i came third in Long Jump equal third in High Jump.I also went in the 4×100 metre relay our team came first in my team i had Luke,Douggie and Marcus.I reckon Bridges will win becaue we won most of the relays and they are worth extra points.The two days were really fun i had making the banners and painting my face Blue it was fun.

Yesterday to the P.A.C we watched i show about rebounding and there was stories about people who rebounded from something bad that happened to them.We had it on two huge screens and it was really loud and i got a head ache at the start.

One of the people was Anna Mears she fractured her neck and it almost killed her it happened when she was competing she ran in to the back of someone else’ wheel and she landed really hard and and slamed her head on the ground.When she got out of hosbital she was always training everyday and could only last 2 minutes before her eyes got all blury.In 2008 she competed in the Beijing Olympics and she got a silver medal and she was crying after she won it.

There were two other people I cant remember there names but they kayaked from Australia to New Zealand it took them 3 years to decide if they wanted to do it or not but they were only out at sea for 62 days. About half way there they went into a whirlpool they were paddling as hard as they can to get out of it but they didn’t get anywhere it took all there energy so they had to go in the cabin for a couple of days.When they got to New Zealand there were heaps of people waiting there for them.

When I Have Not Been At School

One time when i was not aat school was when i fractured two of my fingers i went to the doctors i fractured it on a trampoline a guy threw a ball at me and i tried to jump over but it hit my legs and flipped me. My fingers bent back and all of my fingers and all of my hand were all bruised.I played cricket 3 days after i done it as well. The doctors put heaps of bandages on them as well it hurt when i done.

The AFL Grand Final

On Saturday the 26th of September it is the AFL grand final the two teams in the game are Geelong and St kilda they were the two best teams of the year i reckon Geelong will win but i hope Saints win cause i like Saints better.I am going to my dads house to watch it they get a premiership cup and the best player on the ground will get the Norm Smith medal.I reckon it will be a awesome game cause they are the best two sides of the season. Geelong have been in it the last two years but they have only won one premiership.Last years Norm Smith medalist was Hawthorns Luke Hodge Hawthorn won it last year and Geelong won it the year before.

Three Goals For This Term

My goals this term for behaviour are to try not to get any yellow forms and try to go on pep and not be distracted by other things in the classroom and do the work that i am suppossed to do and also listen to the teacher when they are talking .

My goals for home are to do more chores around the house and not kick the footy up against the house and try not to break stuff and not jump around in the loungeroom and not break stuff in there as well.

My goals at school this term are to bring all the equipment to the class that i am going to also i would like to get better at guitar and learn other instruments.
